Our Story
Pawsitively Perfect Grooming & Self Bathe opened on December 14th, 2015. What started with just one groomer and a small, leased space has grown to a team of ten and a large building of our very own. We continue to be a family-owned and operated business, with a commitment to quality and caring. Our Pet First ideology, along with our incredible team have helped us to grow into one of Dayton’s top pet grooming salons. We can’t wait to meet you and your pets!
Meet Our Team
Adrian & Meg Brunett - Owners
Adrian is affectionately referred to as The Dog Whisperer, in our shop. He has been grooming for several years and has a proven track record of being able to calm even the naughtiest pup. His specialties include large breeds, “problem children”, and elderly dogs. Some of his favorite furry friends are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Maltese.

Meg has many years of experience in business, marketing, and organizational leadership, as well as team development. While Meg is still involved in the business, she is currently working off-site. If you are lucky enough to spot her at the shop, don't forget to say hello!
Jessica - Manager
Jessica Banks is the friendly face and guiding heart of Pawsitively Perfect Grooming & Self Bathe, LLC. As our Salon Manager, she blends top-tier customer service with a genuine love for both people and pets, creating a warm, welcoming experience from the moment you walk in. She has a natural gift for making every visit feel easy, comfortable, and just a little extra special. Behind the scenes, Jessica keeps everything running smoothly while ensuring every guest—two- and four-legged—feels right at home. We’re so lucky to have her leading our team!
Amber - Pet Stylist/ Team Lead
Your furry family members will be in great hands with Amber. Her 24 years of grooming experience has resulted in a very calm and patient Pet Stylist, with spectacular handling skills. Amber’s expertise lies in not only making your dog(s) look good, while keeping them at ease, but also in building relationships with her clients. After just a couple of visits with Amber and her sparkling personality, you’ll feel just like family.
Ashley - Pet Stylist
Ashly’s love for her career as a Pet Stylist began when she was hired as a pet bather over 8 years ago. She immediately set a goal to become a Pet Stylist, because of her love and passion for working with animals. Ashly loves working with and training puppies, so that they enjoy coming to the salon to get pampered. She finds this very rewarding. Her favorite breed to work with is poodles because she can do so many different fun styles with their coats. She also enjoys going that extra mile with her furry clients, by providing them with a one-of-a-kind look, by coloring their coats!
Brittany - Pet Stylist
With over 11 years of grooming experience, Brittany certainly knows her way around the grooming table. Her warmth and kindness are sure to calm even the naughtiest of pups, making every visit a positive one. She wields her scissors with precision and confidence, ensuring that every single pet leaves looking and feeling their best. Dedicated to her craft, Brittany takes pride in creating styles that reflect both the pet’s personality and the owner’s wishes, all while showering each furry friend with patience and love.
Charity - Pet Stylist
If you’re looking for a pet stylist who can pamper not only dogs, but also cats and other furry companions, look no further than Charity. With over 10 years of grooming experience, she brings both expertise and genuine love for animals to every appointment. Known for her fun, energetic personality and eye for detail, Charity combines skill with creativity to give each pet a style that shines. Whether it’s a polished breed-specific cut or a playful touch of flair, she makes sure every furry friend leaves looking and feeling fabulous!
Kara - Pet Stylist
With over 13 years of grooming experience, Kara is a true pro in the industry. Kara especially enjoys working with Schnauzers and Chihuahuas, and her eye for detail shines through in her precise breed-specific cuts. She’s also known for her creative side, adding fun and vibrant coloring to pups who love a little extra flair. Calm, patient, and dedicated, Kara creates a positive grooming experience for every pet that comes her way. Her steady hands and gentle approach put even the most nervous dogs at ease, while her skill and artistry leave them looking their absolute best.
Mattea - Pet Stylist
With a creative eye and a gentle touch, Mattea brings both artistry and compassion to every grooming appointment. Known for her patience and kindness with animals, she takes pride in helping each pet feel safe and cared for throughout the grooming process. Mattea offers specialized services including hand-stripping for wire-haired breeds and creative grooming for clients looking for something extra fun and unique. From polished and proper to fun and fabulous, Mattea loves helping every pet leave feeling happy!
Mya - Pet Stylist
With a lifelong love for animals, Mya brings patience, compassion, and refined skill to every grooming session. Dachshunds, Poodles, and Doodles hold a special place in her heart. She has earned a reputation for her gentle approach and natural ability to connect with each pet, creating a positive and reassuring experience from start to finish. Her background in training therapy dogs provides a deeper understanding of canine behavior, allowing her to confidently and safely work with high-anxiety and even reactive dogs. Every appointment is approached with care and intention allowing pet parents to feel completely at ease knowing their beloved companion is well cared for.
Mystery — Pet Stylist
Mystery has been a professional pet groomer for over 8 years and brings a calm, gentle presence to every grooming session. She has a soft spot for Shih Tzus, Goldendoodles, and Huskies, and absolutely loves giving fluffy doodle haircuts that make pups look irresistibly cute. Known for her sweet demeanor and patient approach, Mystery takes pride in making every dog feel comfortable and leave looking their very best.
Regan — Pet Stylist
Regan’s love for animals has no bounds. She has been working with animals of all kinds since she was young. Volunteering at animals shelters and even showing horses. She is now a certified dog groomer as well as a dog trainer. Your pups will feel at ease with her as she has a wonderful understanding of dog body language and behavior. She speaks dog! Chihuahuas and small dogs especially find comfort and safety with Regan. Whether it be gentle reassurance or delicate care when handling the little ones. Animals of all shapes and sizes feel right at home with this groomer.
